A Little History

Santa Rosa First Church Of God was established in Santa Rosa, CA. In 1966 by Dr, R.A. Scott and Rev. Jewel M. Scott.  The Church is a growing, soul-winning, Bible preaching Church with emphasis upon the authority of the Word of God in faith and practice.  After the retirement of Dr. R.A. &  Jewel Scott, their daughter Rev. Linda Robert was placed into position as Senior Pastor and continues preaching God’s Word.

We preach and teach the principles of the Bible that will develop virtuous character, principled leaders, and secure believers.  Our nation, state, city, and homes need Godly leaders who will make decisions on the bases of the Bible principle, who will renounce sin, and will promote righteousness; and to that end we at Santa Rosa First Church of God are dedicated.

Assistant Pastor Rev. Mandelena Tornay, her husband Jake & their family!

Rev. Mandelena Tornay grew up in Northern California where she developed a strong ethic for integrity and character driven leadership as she came to know Christ as a child. She is now the 4th Generation Church of God minister. Rev. Tornay was raised in the Church of God. Through her hands on experiences she has learned the many jobs of Church ministry. Answering Gods call upon her life she has found her place is to serve God in pastoral ministry. Mandelena and her husband Jake along with their three children seek to develop and invest in a community where God can use them to disciple a ministry of effective Christ-like followers while seeking to evangelize the community and larger world.
